Broadway World Photo Spotlight: Meet the Cast of Solstice Party
Happy Closing to the cast of Solstice Party written by the amazing and wonderful Susan Soon He Stanton with a fun cast and talented crew led by our Director Tyler Mercer.  It was my first time working with Live Source Theatre which is a  company of multidisciplinary artists with a unique mission to elevate the role of design in the creation, development, and production of new theatrical works.  Had some great audiences for this crazy show and I am really proud to have been a part of it.  If you didn't have a chance to catch it, here is a little description:
"A group of friends gather to celebrate the Summer Solstice together in the deep Upstate New York woods behind an old farmhouse.  What begins as a casual fun weekend quickly devolves into something more sinister; a power -struggle and then a game of survival that is by turns bizarre and shocking.  Written as a Jonestown parable for the Trump era, playwright Susan Soon He Stanton explores themes of "group- think" and betrayal that instigate our deepest primal fears."
- Live Source Theatre Group

Some nice things that people said then typed for public consumption:
  • "played with comedic wit by Satomi Blair" - Stage Buddy
  • "...the acting is strong (particularly Satomi Blair’s Jo Ann).." - Review Hub
  • "All seven main actors in Solstice Party! deliver engaging performances... Blair’s Jo Ann owns a seemingly infinite amount of sardonic one-liners." - Huffington Post
  • "I was a little confused at the end but it wasn't your worst ...you had funny moments" - my Mother
